The Biennial Flight Review (BFR) is a mandatory refresher required by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) for all pilots holding a valid U.S. pilot certificate. It ensures that you maintain safe flying practices and remain up-to-date with current regulations and procedures.

At Southern Flight Aviation, we offer personalized, efficient BFR training tailored to your experience level, aircraft type, and flying goals—whether you fly recreationally or professionally.

What’s Included

  • Ground Review (minimum 1 hour):

    • Review of FAR Part 91 regulations

    • Airspace updates and safety practices

    • Scenario-based decision-making

  • Flight Review (minimum 1 hour):

    • Evaluation of basic flight maneuvers

    • Emergency procedures

    • Radio communication and navigation skills

    • Aircraft-specific operations

Note: The BFR is not a pass/fail exam, but a collaborative review with your instructor to ensure you meet the standards for safe and competent flight
